Most people have an instant
connotation for the term, “soulmate”. I would go so far as to say, it is an idiom we’re acutely aware
of in our culture. It’s something
many of us spend our lives searching for. We throw certain lovers away because,
“They were not my soul mate,” or decide to marry because “I found my soul mate,
the love of my life!” Most people think of this term as one perfect person who
links up with you romantically and completes you on every level possible.
May I ask you, though; have you
ever wondered if we might have more than one soul mate? If this were the truth, soul mates
could be seen as different people who fit us well at different times, and teach
us the lessons we need to know for that specific stage of our lives. So you may
be wondering and saying, “Wait, are you saying there isn’t one perfect
connection out there? This soul mate ideal is a rip-off!” Well hold on to your
knickers, there’s more kids!
What if there was another
connection that two beings could have that is so intense and fulfilling that when
the two souls come together, though incomplete alone, together they make a
whole. According to Craig Campobasso, Author of The Autobiography of an Extraterrestrial Saga: I AM Thyron, the
term “Soul mate” is much more encompassing than some may think. In fact, we, as
humans, may have many soul mates throughout our lives, some being stronger than
others, but many mates. In the book, Campobasso alludes that soul mates are the
people (or extraterrestrials, in this case) that we travel with, and learn from
during this lifetime and beyond.
There is another term, however,
that Campobasso writes about called a “twin
flame.” This term is much closer to what many think of as a traditional soul mate.
A twin flame is literally the
counterpart to a soul that makes that soul whole as a spiritual entity.
In the case of Thyron, at the beginning of the book, he has
found a soul mate in Pandasala. They are lovers and quite happy together. But
things start to go awry when he sets eyes on Kaialeena. Uh oh, can somebody say
Jerry Springer, or, you know, the cosmic equivalent, because even in the world
in which Thyron lives where love and relationships are more open, this is a bit
of an awkward situation. The fact that Kaialeena and Thyron have such a huge
connection (truly, that they have “The Connection”), presents an incredible gift,
but also, an incredibly awkward situation for everyone to deal with.
Though their love cannot be
denied, as it is the most pure and rare form of love, it is still a slight
grievance for Thyron to switch over his affection to someone else. He, as a
deeply feeling being, also knows that his eventual choice to pursue an exclusive
bond with Kaialeena will rupture Pandasala’s heart in more ways than one. These
conflicting feelings of love and guilt keep Thyron and Kaialeena from joining
like the magnets that they are for a time, but we can only dismiss destiny for
so long.
The fact of the matter is, if you
set eyes on the person who most completes you in this universe, there is a
limited amount of time you can stay away before your soul yearns to find its
literal other half. Sometimes we are able to deny soul mate connections, because
we figure we’ll find another mate who will work out just as good or better in
the long run, and this may be true. However, with a twin flame connection, try,
though you may, if you’re lucky enough to find the matching puzzle piece to your
heart, you cannot escape the journey of complete, ever so unconditional love.
Thyron says it best when he and
Kaialeena finally confess their love and deep purpose in each other’s lives,
exclaiming, “You are my twin flame, Kaialeena. I know it’s rare that twins find
each other but this is real. This is my heart and your heart being brought
together by the light of God’s Fire.”
Of course, the mere fact that
Kaialeena and Thyron have found each other and decided to link up with destiny
and become one does not mean that their troubles are over. The truth is that
they have devoted their existence to help advance the universe’s collective
consciousness which puts their bond on hold, as, above all, the education of the
universe is their greatest spiritual mission. Not to mention the fact that they
still have the guilt of the situation with Pandasala on their hands. Plus,
Thyron is dealing with duality disorder: working on merging his dark and his light. Oh the journeys they
still must face!
How will they go on? Will this
bond of many lifetimes be enough to keep them together forever? Or will the
pressure of the Universe and all of its creatures tear even their perfect love apart?
I guess you’ll just have to read
and find out.
